A$AP Rocky, Swedish House Mafia, with over 4,000 seats: at the Palm Tree Festival, a premiere that puts the "horses"
The countdown is about to end. The launch of the first edition of the Palm Tree Music Festival this Saturday at the Polo Club de Saint-Tropez - located in Gassin - (before dates in Sardinia, California, and Napa Valley) is shaping up to be a success, with headliners A$AP Rocky and Swedish House Mafia.
"For us, it's a test year, but we have the advantage of having built an ecosystem. People know us and follow our brand. So, both the French and the flow of foreigners on vacation who love this kind of festival should be there!" explains Karan Ram, international president of the Palm Tree Festival.
The Gulf rather than Rock en SeineA date that holds its share of surprises. A$AP Rocky and Swedish House Mafia, the two headliners, know each other well, so a stage collaboration isn't out of the question, according to the organizers, who have found the Polo Club the ideal space to set up their infrastructure, which offers a variety of experiences for the public.
Food trucks will be present, but the most upscale offerings will include table service at the "Palm Club," spread over two levels.
On site at the end of the week, Jean-Roch, partner of the event, admitted to being dazzled by the installations around the esplanade, including a "huge stage for an incredible festival!", he commented during his visit.
Capacity limited to 4,200 seatsThe capacity is deliberately limited to 4,200 seats so that "everyone can make the most of the different sets" which will start at 4 p.m. and end around 11 p.m.
Among them is Grammy Award-winning Australian DJ Cassian , who has had time to familiarize himself with the surroundings by renting a studio on the peninsula this week to work on his sounds.
A$AP Rocky, who shares his life with Rihanna, who is pregnant with their third child, is also fully invested. The American actor-rapper reportedly canceled his national appearance at Rock en Seine to focus on the show on the peninsula. This suggests he'll be motivated for tomorrow night!
